Plan to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before your scheduled start so we can complete check-in without rushing.
Bring a valid, unexpired government-issued ID with a name that exactly matches your Pearson VUE registration.
For exam security, friends and family cannot wait inside the building. Movaci cannot reschedule or cancel exams; all changes are made directly with Pearson VUE.
Acceptable forms of identification
Pearson VUE enforces strict ID rules to protect the integrity of your result. Most exams require two original, valid, government-issued IDs, and the first and last name on your ID must match your Pearson VUE registration exactly.
Primary ID
Government-issued and unexpired, showing your name, a recent recognizable photo, and your signature. Acceptable examples:
- Passport
- National or government-issued ID card
- Driver's license
- Military ID
Secondary ID
Often required in addition to the primary ID. Must show at least your name and signature. Acceptable examples:
- A second ID from the primary list
- A bank, credit, or debit card bearing your signature
- A government-issued local-language ID
- Originals only. Photocopies, photographs, and digital IDs are not accepted.
- IDs must be valid and unexpired. An expired ID is accepted only when accompanied by valid renewal papers.
- If your ID was not issued by the country where you are testing, bring an International Travel Passport in Roman characters.
- Requirements vary by exam program. Confirm your exam's ID policy on Pearson VUE before your appointment, and request any exception at least three business days ahead.

How do I book an exam at Movaci?
Schedule through Pearson VUE and select Movaci as your test center. You register, choose your date and time, and pay directly with Pearson VUE, then arrive on the day with valid ID.

How do I pay for my exam?
Exam fees are paid to Pearson VUE at the time you book. Movaci does not collect exam payment, so there is nothing to settle at the center on the day.
Can Movaci reschedule or cancel my exam?
No. We cannot schedule, reschedule, or cancel exams on your behalf. Every change is made directly with Pearson VUE. This applies in all cases, including a missed appointment, a date change, a cancelled exam, or a day the center is closed.

It depends on the exam program. Many IT certification exams give a provisional result at the end of your session, while some academic and professional exams take longer. Pearson VUE and your exam sponsor issue the official result.

When should I arrive?
Arrive 15 to 30 minutes before your scheduled start so we can complete check-in without rushing. Late arrivals may not be admitted, and Pearson VUE may treat a missed start as a no-show.
What ID do I need to bring?
Most Pearson VUE exams require two original, valid, unexpired IDs: a primary ID that is government-issued and shows your name, a recent recognizable photo, and your signature, plus a secondary ID showing at least your name and signature. Acceptable forms include a passport, national or government-issued ID card, driver's license, or military ID. The first and last name on your ID must match your Pearson VUE registration exactly. Nothing personal. Phones, bags, watches, and notes are not allowed in the exam room. We provide a private locker with a key for your belongings. Approved medical items and comfort aids are allowed after a visual inspection by staff.
Can I take a break during my exam?
It depends on the exam. Some allow unscheduled breaks while the clock keeps running; others do not permit breaks at all. During a permitted break you may access medication or food from your locker if you need to.
Security and privacy
How are candidates monitored at the center?
Movaci is covered by more than 30 cameras. You are recorded from the moment you enter the building, throughout the common areas, and during your exam, with certified proctors watching every session. This continuous monitoring is a Select-tier requirement that protects the integrity of your result.
Can I wear smart glasses or use a recording device during my exam?
No, and we will catch it. Our team are exam-security professionals, and the room is covered by 30+ cameras with live proctoring. Smart glasses, hidden cameras, audio recorders, earpieces, phones, and concealed notes are detected. Anyone who attempts to record exam content, cheat, or test on someone else's behalf will have their exam stopped and will be reported to both Pearson VUE and the police for exam fraud, and can expect to be banned by the exam sponsor. We are warm and friendly, and we will quietly celebrate with you when you pass on your own merit. We have zero tolerance for cheating, fraud, or corruption.
How is my personal data and recording handled?
All recordings and personal data are captured and retained securely, in line with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Footage is used only for exam security and is handled under our data protection obligations.
Accessibility
Do you offer testing accommodations?
Yes. Pearson VUE provides reasonable adjustments for candidates with a documented disability or medical need. Accommodations are individualized and must be requested and approved through Pearson VUE before you schedule your exam, as the process and documentation depend on your exam program. Allow up to about 20 days. Start at Pearson VUE's testing accommodations page, and once approved we deliver the agreed arrangements at the center.

Can I test at Movaci if I'm visiting Chiang Mai or from another country?
Yes. Movaci welcomes candidates from all over the world according to Pearson VUE and the exam sponsors' policies. There are no requirements of visa or work permit status to sit for Pearson VUE exams at Movaci.

Movaci is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX). You can reach us by taxi, Grab, or tuk-tuk.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed on weekends and public holidays.
Is there parking?
Yes. Parking is available at the front of the building. If the front area is full, we have backup parking, but you must call our main line at +66 (052) 079 455 so our team can direct you.
Can a friend or family member wait with me at the center?
No. For test security and exam protocol, friends, family, and anyone the test taker knows cannot remain in the building during the exam. Mingmitr Coffee, about 250 meters south of Movaci, along with other nearby cafes, is a comfortable place for them to wait.
Do you serve candidates from Chiang Rai and the north?
Yes. Our central Chiang Mai location makes us a convenient Pearson VUE testing hub for candidates from Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, and across Northern Thailand.
